Dynacraft Prophet CB Iron Heads

The Dynacraft Prophet CB Iron heads incorporate what Dynacraft calls “flex face technology”. This newer technology helps with both distance and performance, even on mis-hits.

The face plate of the head is actually a separate material from the rest of the body. It’s made of 17-4 stainless steel. The face itself goes through a forging process where the molecules are compacted, and this allows for the thinner face. Then the face goes through a special vacuum heat-treat process that gives it its high strength. These processes give this iron head the maximum allowable C.O.R. (a “flex face”).

This technology gives you better ball speed coming off the face, and it allows Dynacraft to distribute the weight of the iron to optimal areas of the head for increased forgiveness. Many of a typical golfer’s shots are mis-hits, and this technology can increase distance even when the ball is not perfectly struck. The head has a deep undercut cavity that helps to distribute the weight savings to the right places. The head ends up with an extremely low and deep center of gravity.

In order to offset this change in the center of gravity, the lofts have been strenthened to normalize the trajectory. This results in straighter and longer shots to the green. The stronger lofts work especially well with todays lighter weight and higher launching iron shafts.
